Fantastic work, top notch professional, highest quality.

wonderful guitarist! Was able to take my ideas I sang out to him and make them real. Was also able to take my revision requests kindly and professionally with a really quick turn around. I was able to achieve a very specific, muted funk guitar sound through Nick that I otherwise wouldnt have been able to achieve on my own. Thanks buddy!

Nick was a pleasure to work with. I didn't do a great job on communicating what I wanted the first time and Nick was very kind, patient, and willing to work with me until it was just right. Highly recommend!

Nick is really good a what he does. I had him create a guitar track for a production that I'm working on and he did not disappoint. Very professional, prompt and flexible. Looking forward to the next project.

Absolutely five stars! Turn-around time was great and what Nick created was better than what I had envisioned. Nick took a simple melody that I gave him and turned it into a song with a powerful guitar track where each verse was slightly different, building on the previous verse, to a dynamic end. He was very responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend Nick for your project!

Nick is a talented, versatile and creative guitarist, which is what I needed because I kept throwing different ideas at him and he always came through with excellent results. He's also pretty quick in delivering the goods as well. He's easy to communicate and deal with. Definitely would recommend.

It was an outstanding experience to work with Nick. He understand your needs immediately and creates Guitar Patterns with a quality (Guitar playing and recording!) that is top notch. You can tell that he's playing guitars since many years and that Music is his passion. Also is Nick a very communicative person, which is key when it comes to make Music and create Ideas. We will definitely come back, 10/10!

Nick got great emotion out of the guitars for this song! Was an absolute joy to work with--very speedy getting back to me and met all of the expectations i had for the tracks. Stems were easily downloaded after. Would highly recommend working with Nick! : )

Nick helped me with two americana songs by playing the electric, acoustic, and keys parts. Nick was incredibly prompt, delivering everything much faster than I expected, kind, and creative in his approach to match the type of sound I was going for. He was receptive to a change request and made it so fast : ) Would highly recommend for any projects where you need guitars or keys.

Interview with Nick Tsang
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I think being called in to be Ed Sheeran's right hand man on the guitar and backing vocalist was an honour since he is one of the most successful artists in history. To be played a part of his journey will be great to tell the grand kids!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on my own project Amberlake ready to release lots of music next year
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Although I collected so much analog gear of amps and pedals over the years, These days I mainly use digital since the workflow is so much quicker and the results are just as good
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: We will have an enjoyable experience working together and I shall make sure to give you my best
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I get to do what I love for a living
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That Im broke!
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: It helps me if you have a clear vision of what you are trying to achieve. The more you know what you want, the faster I can help you get the results
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I love writing/recording when I travel. On my travels I take an acoustic guitar, laptop, Shure SM7b, apogee duet and a midi keyboard. Its all you need to make a music!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: It has been my my full time job since I left school, so forever!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Although I grew up on blues and pop rock, my style of playing is very modern since I love pop music and have a been studying for over 15 years
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: It is easy to get caught up in the technicalities of music production, but always remember music is a feeling. Everything you write/play has to make you feel something
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Although I come from a blues/rock background, my main work these days are with modern pop artists which spans across all genres
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I value myself on having a great ear for harmony and arrangement of parts
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: It is very important to me to aline the music with the story the song is telling. I always listen to the lyrics and talk about feel/mood that the client would like to achieve, and every part that I compose has to have a purpose in the track.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I always spend the first few listens of a new track without my instruments. I like to imagine what I want to hear on the track before before playing anything. that way the new parts written will be completely suited for the song
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a fully kitted music studio in which I hold recording sessions. I have 13 guitars and 4 amps to cover all musically genres as well as upright piano and world instruments. These days I mainly use my Kemper amp profiler which allows me to access any guitar sound that is required for any live or recording job
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: As well as touring as a backing guitarist/multi-instrumentalist, I get hired often in the studio to compose guitars/keys parts which often becomes the main driving element in which all the production elements are build around
