Award-winning mastering engineer trusted by Netflix, Showtime, Timbaland’s label, and 5,000+ artists — delivering release-ready sound that translates across Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and every platform.
Hi, I’m Michael Venia — mastering engineer and founder of Venia Mastering Studio. Over the past two decades, I’ve helped more than 5,000 artists craft release-ready masters that hold up everywhere: from intimate indie releases to major placements on Netflix and Showtime, and collaborations with artists like Lil B and Brooklyn pop-rockers MAKUTA (signed to Timbaland’s Anthem-Bluestone label).
My goal is simple: deliver release-ready sound that translates everywhere — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, radio, film, and beyond. Whether you’re an independent artist putting out your first single or a label prepping a full album, your music gets the same level of care and attention.
I’ve lived music from every angle — as a musician, a performer, a recording engineer, and now as a mastering engineer. That journey taught me how deeply artists care about their sound, and why mastering is such a critical final step.
I started Venia Mastering to give artists more than just a “finished” file. I wanted to create a service where every track gets attention, communication is personal, and the results stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the best in the industry.
