Hi, my name is Nick p/k/a Sommerklänge. I am a full stack music producer, which means I can take a song from the writing process all the way to the final master. My primary focus lies in Electronic Dance Music and its sub-genres as well as electronic pop music.

Such a great artist & music producer! It’s always a pleasure to work with him because he’s very communicative and he always manages to make a banger out of any idea. The official remix of “Dead Weight” was made, promoted and mixed/mastered by him. His professionalism and his preference for quality set him apart from any other music producer.

Worked with Nick on a cover of Breaking Up Was Easy in the 90s. It was his idea to make an electronic beat out of a little cover I'd popped on instagram and it turned out great! He's super communicative and I'm glad we got to release a track together.

Helped me with my track "My Heart Went" and its slowed+reverb counter part. The mix and mastering he's done to it really brought up the quality of the song and the rearrangement made it more interesting. Also, was never afraid to ask for changes and discuss stuff I didn't like.

Interview with SOMMERKLÄNGE

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic pop music, from radio tunes to dancefloor fillers.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I am usually the music finisher. So a client would come to me with a rough demo, which I will then turn into a fully produced song that is ready for streaming.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work in a treated room and have a variety of headphones by Austrian Audio, Sennheiser, Sony, etc. My audio interface is an RME Fireface UCX II and my speakers are HEDD Audio Type 5 with a closed design. My midi-keyboard is a Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S61. As a DAW I'm using Logic Pro. I primarily use Komplete 14 Ultimate Collectors Edition as well as FabFilter, Soundtoys and Plugin Alliance plugins. For editing vocals I use Melodyne and iZotope RX8.
