Mixing Engineer and Indie Pop Producer. We can flesh out your song and create a shining diamond! I produce a polished and exciting soulful pop arrangement with a consistent sound that is both sophisticated and natural. We can take your song from a demo to a full-blown pop song bursting with life, using great session musicians if desired.

My latest project is producing my own music project CRIS CAP, now I want to share my skills and knowledge with you. I have a great passion for soulful music and love to combine natural elements like real pianos and real guitars with electronic elements and synthesizers. As a graduate of the Institute for Music and Media (IMM) in Düsseldorf, I also have experience with orchestral instruments and spatial miking. I have been playing on stages all over Europe with Soul/Funk/Disco act RENT A FRIEND.

Mixing:
I allow for as many revisions as needed; I will keep refining until everyone is happy. To keep things efficient I do put a time limit of 20 business days from delivery of first pass. I love feedback and view mixing as a collaborative process. Rate includes final 44.1k 24b WAV unmastered full-resolution mix with headroom. Can include 2 alternate prints (inst + acca) free of charge; additional mixes incur cost. Can provide stems for $30/song.

We met about more than 15 years ago as musicians and turned into friends. Brought together our disco & dance reloaded project with Rent a Friend into life. Where Chris brought in his excellent production skills. Communication is always very clear, so that everyone really knows whats‘s the goal, where you are heading to and what is still to contribute to evolve a song into its magic. Chris has also produced a very personal song for my collaboration with Borussia Dortmund (BVB) the famous soccer club. The hymn „Echte Liebe“ / „Real Love“ has been played continuously in the stadium 🤗🎶

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yeah! Singers Courtney Bennet and Joanna Teters, whos work and sound I really love! Also: Mastering Engineer Andres Mayo with his great experience.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: It's good to get the best of both worlds. The kind of music I love needs real instruments. But of course the digital world is a blessing for us music producers. Fortunately, I learned to produce pop music with analog equipment like SSL consoles, STUDER 24-track machines with DOLBY and UREI compressors. So I know what kind of great sound I'm aiming for.
