Music Producer/Mixing Engineer

I am a Nashville based human who was worked in the field for over ten years - both as a producer and mixing engineer, and as the singer, guitarist and lyricist of the band Gates.

I earned a degree in Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media from Michigan State University in 2008, specializing in audio production. In early 2010, I moved from Michigan to Kingston, New York and interned at Levon Helm Studios under two-time Grammy winning engineer/producer Justin Guip. More recently I have produced records at VuDu Studio, Audiopilot Studio, The Barbershop Studios, and North End Recording.

I love working with all genres of music, but am mostly known for my work with post-rock, alternative, and indie rock bands with complex arrangements and instrumentation. I love creating dynamic, full, and natural sounding productions with a lot of emotional resonance and sonic impact. First and foremost, I strive to preserve an artist's unique sound and character and approach every record with that in mind.

My goal with every project is to have my clients walk away feeling excited, motivated, and proud of their art. I want your music to be the best version of itself it can possibly be.
