Take your sound to the next level with mixing and mastering services! It's Alex from WhitemadStudio, I'm an Award-Nominated (Welsh Music Prize) engineer with 8 years of experience, having worked with multiple genres, I have all the modern tools you need to achieve a professional sound.

Whether you are an artist, producer or singer, we have your needs covered:

MIXING AND MASTERING *most popular*
Full mixing and mastering, unlimited stems.
The best option to get the best out of your track, all individual elements can be enhanhed and re-balanced to create the best quality possible track. Vocal mixing incl.

STEM MASTERING
Stem mastering up to 8 group stems (drums, synths, basses...).
Stem mastering enhances the mastering approach by mixing the main groups of your song. This can drastically improve the overall quality of the song since I have a more precise access to the main elements of your track.

MASTERING
One stereo file mastering.
Mastering is the final step of audio production and is of critical importance to your final product. Important decisions about frequency balancing, depth, quality and final presentation are made during this process

About the engineer:
Having all that experience in the music creation process gives me the global perspective needed to achieve a professional sounding track, plus I’m always aware of all the new music trends to make sure I maintain a modern sound to my work. After finishing my degree in Audio Engineering & Music Production and working on different recording studio I decided to open my own studio working full time doing mix&mastering, ghostproduction and co-production.

Interview with whitemadstudio

  1. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  2. A: Develop your ears! You can't fix what you can't hear...

  3. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  4. A: I work both on Electronic and Pop. Some subgeneres are: EDM (Future House, Deep House, Bass House...) Pop (styles like Dua Lipa, Elle king...) RnB (styles like Ariana Grande, Tate Mcrae) Indie/Rock (styles like the lumineers)

  5. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  6. A: Mixing is definately my strongest skill, my mastering end up being very simple because everything is fixed already in the mix!

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: I always try to get the best out of the song and make all the edits I need to ensure the song is percieved as top quality, but at the same time it's important for me to respect the original vision of the artist so the track won't sound completly different.

  9. Q: What's your typical work process?

  10. A: I work in Pro Tools. I usually work with group buses, routing similar stems (like Synth1, Synth 2...) to make group processing and creat common dinamics and harmonics: I also do the full mixdown of all the individual elements and I have a lot of secret techniques to make the track sound professional.

  11. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  12. A: I work in an acousticaly treated control room, using two sets of speakers: Tannoy and Yamaha NS-10M Studio (which I love!)

  13. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  14. A: I am a big fan of the work of engineers like Luca Pretolesi, Tony Maserati, Michael Brauer and I'm always using techniques learned from them. I also respect producers like Ian Kirkpatrik, Martin Garrix, Alesso, Axwell...

  15. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  16. A: Most of the time I do mixing and mastering together, usually my clients want this to be done by the same engineer since they come to me for my sound. I always work with artists and producers in generes like Deep House, Future House, Future Bass, Pop and Indie/rock
