Sad boy club
I write mainly emo rap and trap rock style beats at the moment (think Lil Peep, XXXTentacion etc.) but I also write many other styles of music from ambient soundscapes through to pure shameless pop. I record all the music in my tracks myself so no headaches over getting samples cleared.
I have a degree in Music (University of Manchester) and a Masters distinction in Studio Composition & Sonic Art (Goldsmiths, University of London).
I sing, play piano, synths, guitar, bass guitar, violin and drums.
I'm proficient in a number of pieces of music software including Pro Tools, Ableton, Sibelius, Cubase, Nuendo and Logic.
I DJ and have 2 signed bands that I've toured globally with - Crushed Beaks & 13XL. In my downtime, I love taking on music projects of all sorts.
Previous projects include: song writing/producing for a mixture of bands and solo artists signed to major labels such as Island and Black Butter through to new emerging independent artists; mixing tracks; writing compositions for film & moving image; writing compositions for choirs and orchestras; sound design.
I'm used to working with a variety of clients such as singer/ songwriters, advertising agencies, brands, radio stations, production houses, instrumentalists and students.
I have my own studio so can invite clients over or we can work remotely, whatever you prefer.
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Scott has an ear for what is TRULY fresh and new. If he's in any consideration of yours, I highly recommend checking him out! He has a brilliant way of writing lyrics and melodies. Would hope to work again with him down the line.

Working with Scott was a great experience as he's very dedicated and patient, and won't stop working on your project until you're fully happy and have reached exactly what you were looking for.
He makes the effort and will bring your creative vision to life.
I'd definitely work with him again in the future. Thanks Scott! - check_circleVerified

Scott is literally the most talented, most patient, and most ON-POINT songwriter I have ever worked with. I can't even believe he's on Soundbetter... this guy should be working for major label artists... or he should become one himself. I would be the first person in line to buy anything he puts out. Scott has made my dreams come true... and we are still going strong on working with each other to make several more hits.

My first time using Soundbetter, I wasn't sure what to expect, but somehow found this insanely talented songwriter here, and received quite possibly one of the most creative and original tracks I've ever heard! Scott is fantastic, easy to work with, very friendly, and most of all, not once in the entire time we worked on the song together did he complain or get upset about the millions of changes I wanted done to the parts. The result? A perfect song.

Was the first time using Scott but will definitely be coming back, totally grasped what I was going for, quick turnaround, and the end result was way better than I had imagined. Nice guy as well :)
