Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm currently producing a Rock track with Rob Manzoli from Right Said Fred. It's incredible working with someone who's had that level of commercial success but still values authentic connection and creativity. I'm also working on a Beatles tribute project that's pushing me to blend classic songwriting with modern production techniques. Plus there's an 80s-inspired dance track with a Swedish vocalist that's turning into something really special. Each project is completely different, which is exactly how I like it.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: The moment when an artist hears their song become what it was always meant to be. That "holy shit" moment when we both get goosebumps and know we've captured something special. Plus, I get to work with incredible humans who care about their craft. That connection is everything.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That all producers work the same way. Most producers start with sounds or loops and build from there. I start with emotion and let everything else follow. People think production is about gear and plugins. For me, it's about channeling what wants to come through and using whatever tools serve that vision.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Don't hire me if you just want someone to execute your exact vision. Hire me if you want to discover what your song is truly capable of becoming. Come ready to trust the process and be surprised. The best music happens when you're willing to let go of control and let the song lead.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: If we vibe and I choose to work with you, I'll give you everything I've got for your project. But more than that, if we don't create something that moves you emotionally, I haven't done my job. I'd rather make one song that gives you goosebumps than ten that just fill playlists.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: If the vibe is there in the moment, capture everything you can. Don't leave the session until you've exhausted the creative flow. The magic that happens in those peak moments is almost impossible to recreate later. Technology should serve the inspiration, not the other way around.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I work on music that matters to the artist creating it. That's been rap, pop, rock, dance, soul, country genre is just a container. What I really work on is authentic expression. If you're making music just to fit a trend, we're probably not a good match. If you're making music because you have something real to say, let's talk.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Both. There are great benefits to both. The ease of being able to slice and dice so quickly with digital it amazing. But, if I had a stupid budget and someone who knew how to run, edit and cut tape, I'd take all digital all day.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: That if I we vibe and I choose to work with you, I'll give you everything I got for your project.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Good question! I'd take my laptop, Nueman U87, Recording Booth, Avalon Mic Pre-Amp and 88-Key Keyboard.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Capturing the soul of a song before it even knows what it wants to become. I work with my intuition first, technology second. Most producers start with beats or sounds. I start by feeling what the artist is really trying to express, then let the music reveal itself. It's like being a musical medium.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring 20+ years of intuitive production combined with a background in healing work. I don't just hear what's there, I feel what wants to emerge. My job isn't to impose my vision on your music, it's to help your song become its truest self. Plus, I'm selective about who I work with, so when I say yes to your project, you know something special is about to happen.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Every artist gets a completely custom process because every song has its own energy signature. We start by connecting as humans first - if we don't vibe, the music won't either. Then I listen to what you've created, but more importantly, I feel what you're trying to express. From there, I let the song tell me what it needs. Sometimes that's live instruments, sometimes it's the perfect sample, sometimes it's just moving one element that transforms everything.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I keep it intentionally simple: Mac M1, Ableton, SSL +2, Slate Digital ML-1, and carefully chosen plugins. I've made hits in airport lounges and fancy studios. The magic doesn't come from the gear, it comes from the connection between the artist and the music. I'd rather have basic equipment and incredible intuition than the best gear and no soul.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: I'm most inspired by artists who trust their inner voice over market research. Producers like Rick Rubin who understand that less can be more, and artists who aren't afraid to be vulnerable. But honestly, my biggest inspiration comes from the connection with whoever I'm working with in that moment. Every artist teaches me something new about music.
