This is a slogan that I hold close to my heart with all of the music I work on. To make this possible, I always like to talk out what the music may need and how we can get it there. Depending on that conversation, we can then pick reference points we want to achieve stylistically. By doing this in advance, we make sure I only further the initial vision.
From there, I work on whatever approach we chose until I get a result we both love (production, mix, master, remix, etc.). I have found that being thorough with the intention of the music always leaves everyone very happy! I strive for excellence in everything I am involved with and look forward to working with new artists and producers. We all do this for the love of the music, thus, I truly believe every part of the process should be fun and simple to navigate.

Koil is my favorite producer to work with! He's incredibly talented in all different genres - pop, EDM, hip hop, you name it. He produced my last single and it was the most successful song to date for my artist project. Also a stand up guy who really cares about his work and your vision.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: In the past weeks during this mayhem... A CountryTrap album with Morgan O'Connor... which has loads of live recorded instrument, amazing songwriting, + hard 808s , a bunch individual records for various artists (Diablo, Lil Mosey, Noah Cyrus, Icy Narco, Armaan Malik, and many more). Lastly, there was a new project that sprung up from the quarantine called "Quarantechno"...
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: This isn't a direct production tip... but has served me well. Learn from all of your friends and hire professionals for what you can't do. Once you have hired them, ask them anything you can to help you learn more about your own productions from an outsiders viewpoint. This information is invaluable.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Been on this for a while... Staff engineer at "The Cutting Room" in N.Y.C. - Head Engineer at "Cove City Sound Studios" Glen Cove, Long Island. - Traveling Engineer for "Jim Beanz + Sunset Sound Entertainment" Philadelphia, PA.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be honest with what you need and what you have. As long as everyone is willing to negotiate, the business is easy. Just have to find out what each others expectations are and act accordingly.

A: What are your plans for the track once its finished? How soon do you need this done? How much were you looking to spend per track or for the project?

A: How much does "..." cost? The answer is everything is directly dependent on all of the variables/time involved. I always say, "Feel free to ask me anything, we usually can figure out a way to make it work!"
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Generally, I analyze what I think the songs/material is needing and give the client feedback. Then we come up with a game plan to take it to the finish line and I go in... with all of my clients, we usually have a completed master figured out within the first few versions I send over.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Fully Manicured. Extremely Polished. PinPoint. Full Yet Defined. A remark I have received many times is," The Track Sounds 3D Now!"
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I work on audio in every sense of the word... from writing to mastering. Production, Remixing, Mixing, and Mastering are my specialties here on SoundBetter. When working remotely, these tasks are easiest to go back and forth on. Truly, I love it all!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Production, Mixing and Mastering are my forte with audio, but working with people and understanding their needs is just as important as the technical skills.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: For me, there is no "usual" for what I work on... This week was Techno and Country... last week was Drag Queens and Trap.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Life, Love, and Energy that I make sure aligns with the artists/clients vision.
