Hi, I'm Felix, session and touring guitarist/cellist and songwriter/producer, based in Hamburg, Germany.

Having played and recorded with several platinum selling artists and toured in over 30 countries so far, I have made quite some experience with popular music.
Working as a songwriter as well and producing music für advertisement, I'm always searching for a guitar or cello line which is suiting best for the track. I'm also scoring string arrangements and recording it wether live with the cello or mixing it with strings out of the box.

Felix is not just a truly great guitar-player, he also plays the cello major-release-ready in his home studio. I have the pleasure to work with Felix for several years now. He is very reliable, thorough and has a great taste. We recorded an acoustic EP on which he played acoustic guitar, cello and lap steal, he played banjo and e-guitar for my album and we wrote some great songs together, which he pre-produced. Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I'm able to do what I love almost everyday and everywhere.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Could you tell me about the vibe you want to create? Is there any particular song that you know which transports this feeling?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Just try it out until you found someone where the chemistry is right.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started playing cello with 8 and guitar with 12 years. I studied electric guitar in Germany and Netherlands and then moved to Hamburg, where I have been working now for 10 years.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to have a talk about a common goal with the customer, then start the arranging and recording process. If the client just wants to replace programmed instruments with real ones, that's fine with me too.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I would say a good mixture of both.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: We will not stop working on the music until we're both happy.
