Hondo Creek is a beautiful, state-of-the-art studio that more than fulfilled my needs. In addition to top of the line equipment, I was very impressed with Mike's dexterity and knowledge during the recording and mixing process. I always felt he had my best interest at hand. And the control room is a very comfortable and casual area. My song came out sounding terrific. Highly recommended!

Hondo Creek is an amazing place to record your song or album at. Set in a small wooded neighborhood in Pittsboro it allows you to get away from the hustle and bustle of Raleigh, relax and record.

My first album was made there with Mike Nicholson at the controls and he did a great job of producing and playing multiple instruments on the album. I can't wait to work with him again. Do yourself a favor make some music there, you will be so happy you did.

Hondo Creek is a very relaxed space with a great sounding room. Mike Nicholson is a master of workflow and incredibly efficient in setting up and dialing in sounds. Mike has a great set of ears and has the ability to quickly mix and master sessions. A great Ludwig kit, full compliment of microphones, amplifiers, guitars, midi tools and keyboards.

Mike is a joy to work with. From doing recordings in the studio to teaching me how to play the guitar, Mike is an expert at his craft. Highly recommend!
