I'm a musician with 16 years of experience in the music business. I've playing with several covers and original bands during this time. Nowadays I have two main projects: Acoustic solo session and my band "Dristeig". One of my compositions "Screaming and Drowning" with Dristeig achieved top 7 in Sweden in the "7 notes challenge by Serj Tankian."
I am a professional songwriter, session vocalist and musician player from New Zealand and now based in LA. I've had a long career as an artist, a session musician/vocalist both in the studio and live. I compose for film & TV and have numerous placements on commercials, TV shows & films. Experienced singer/songwriter open to a wide range of engagement types. I work in a variety of genres including rock (indie, alt, emo, etc), hip-hop, R&B and more, and enjoy fusing together. I have also done work with EDM projects, more "commercial" pop and more. I focus a lot on lyrics and hooks, as well as matching compositions to stories.
Whilst I can play a range of instruments I would say songwriting is my greatest strength. Writing songs and melodies is what I love the most. The idea of creating something from nothing is a gift. Creativity is something I was born with but it has taken hard work and dedication to see the skill of finishing and crafting songs grow in me.
