Endorse StariseStarise has composed several pieces for my high school orchestra over the past 6 years. His melodic and harmonic ideas resonate with my students and the formal construction of his pieces is very creative. My students love to play his pieces and enjoy his orchestrations that make each individual part fun to play. Starise has experience with a wide variety of styles from jazz and ragtime to hip-hop and film scoring and I look forward to working with him again soon.
Starise understand our requests very well and provided not just what we asked for, but more than what we want. He did a great job in interpreting our music made our song better. We will definitely be working on another song again soon!
Starise did a good job even with the first draft for our project and was able to make any requested changes quickly. We would definitely recommend him to anyone.
Interview with Starise
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please describe your expectation as much as possible. It is also gonna be very helpful if you can tell me some songs or artists for reference, so I can figure out what style you want exactly. For mixing and vocal tuning, please send me dry tracks without any effects.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: 1. Talk with you. 2. Do the job. 3. Send you back the halfway completed music to make sure everything is on the right track. 4. Finish the music and send it to you. 5. Do the revisions if needed. 6. Make sure you are 100% satisfied and ask you for a good review (●'◡'●) .
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Although I do mostly Asian pop and orchestral soundtracks, lots of my clients wanted different mixed styles. Some pop song musicians may want their song be more orchestral, more metal or more EDM. I also have experiences making soundtracks in traditional ethnical style, rock style and orchestral styles, etc..
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Making a rock style pop song for a client.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. I am too young for analog.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Adding my creations to this world makes me feel alive ( •̀ ω •́ )y
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Erase all the unnecessary things as early as possible.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I make your song sounds professional, because it deserves.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Pop: Jay Chou, Back Number, G.E.M. Soundtracks: Hans Zimmer, Audiomachine, Roc Chen
