Peace. I'm Garfield Adams, a California-based mixing engineer with nearly 20 years of experience in recording, mixing, mastering, production and editing. While my sonic palette has been heavily influenced by the sample-based textures and production techniques of hip-hop’s “golden era”, my love of music extends far beyond hip-hop, and my deep appreciation for classic rock, soul, jazz, house and funk is what makes me the kind of versatile asset you want on your team.

I’ve been blessed enough to create alongside some amazing talents and over my years I’ve become known for my “golden ears” and attention to detail, with many of my clients using descriptors like "spacious", "warm", "big" and "that sounds like a record" to describe my work on their records. But ultimately, I'm just a guy who enjoys nerding out on sound and being of service to people. That's my passion. Just being a part of what helps us reach the finish line, where our goals of making the best art we can make today are aligned.
