Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Here are some of the questions I would ask: Which artists influence you? What is your vision for this song/project? What emotion or response do you want this song to elicit from your audience? When you share your goals and vision with me, I can be very precise about delivering exactly what you're looking for!
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don’t hesitate to tell your provider all about your vision, inspirations, and ideas. Go into as much detail as you’d like, that helps us nail the song for you!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My voice, a notebook and a guitar is all I need!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I specialise in pop and soft pop music, but I love and enjoy working with a whole range of genres.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Writing powerful lyrics. Give me any topic or theme and I can come up with an authentic, effective lyrical concept for it.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: As a songwriter, I bring a depth of perspective and emotion to any song. I believe it is essential to make the listener FEEL, to transport them into the world of your song, and I can do exactly that with just the right words and melodies. As a singer, I've always been told by listeners that my vocal tone makes any song worth listening to. This pleasant and authentic feel of my tone is, I believe, my biggest asset as a singer.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Every song/project is different, and I like to tailor my process to fit your goals and desired outcome. I generally like to start by understanding your needs deeply. If I'm writing a song, I'll start off with a lyrical concept or hook and build from there. If I'm singing/doing topline and you're after a particular style, I'll study any references you send me thoroughly to give you the right vibe.
