Interview with okay(K)

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I worked on Tobi Lou's album Live on Ice on the song Delete My # Baby. I provided vocals and songwriting to the project. Tobi Lou is an idol of mine so it was really fun working with him.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Catchy music that sells.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Kanye. He brings out the best out of people. He works with everyone, no matter the genre, and he makes hits everytime. I’d also collab with Chance. Tobi Lou collabed with Chance, so it’s possible.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: So many. Mostly Hip-Hop, R&B/Soul, Alternative/Indie, Pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I would say my strongest skill is my vocal ability. But my songwriting is above average as I went to a top 25 school in the country where I minored in creative writing and english classes.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: i'm inspired by a lot of artists from Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Kid Cudi to The Beatles, Vampire Weekend to more recent names such as Joji, Mac Demarco, Clairo, Khalid and 6lack, Post Malone
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I'm an artist who is predominantely a rapper and singer and songwriter so i provide lyrics to the song as well as lead and backing vocals. I am also capable of composing and arranging vocals for peoples projects.
