Hi I’m TOLEDØ, I'm a music producer and audio engineer based in Guadalajara, Mexico, with a decade of experience in the music industry. I mainly focus on EDM and Pop music, but as a diverse producer I can adapt and adjust to different genres and deliver high quality productions for my collaborators based on their necessities. I've helped enhance my collaborators projects and demos to streaming / radio ready tracks.

My music has been supported by global producers and labels of the industry such as Nicky Romero, Spinnin' Records, Justin Mylo, Dharma Worldwide, Domastic and many more. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Developing my own project as TOLEDØ
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I just press some buttons.. There is a lot of hard work behind.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, headphones, midi controller, my hard drive and my Apollo.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been producing since I was 13 years old, since I discovered Avicii's music, from then I never stopped pursuing this dream.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Skrillex, he is a really talented producer that is not afraid of taking risks.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: MIXING TIP: Before you can effectively start making any adjustment to volume panning, Eq etc, it is important to first establish what your priorities are in your mix. In any track that features a lead vocal, it is safe to assume that the vocal will be the top priority, then you can then begin to make decisions on the volume of the vocal, where it is placed on the stereo field and what frequencies you want to emphasize.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I mainly work on EDM and Pop music but sometimes i'm asked to deliver a track that is out of my comfort zone.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start by writing chords, that allows me to decide the tone of the overall track, then move on into the bass section and build the main melody or idea of the song. From then I will start creating the arrangement, start programming drums and start adding effects throughout the track. Every track is different but that's how I usually work.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Flume, Ian KirkPatrick, Disclosure, Skrillex, Dave Pensado, Diplo, CLA and Manny Marroquin.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common job I've been asked to execute is to deliver a high quality track as a producer or ghost producer with a specific deadline that my collaborators specify and to mix and master the whole project.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Creating and working a track for Alejandro Fernandez and creating my track together with Rory Hope.

A: Both.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To deliver excellence to my clients.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Creating music and having the chance to share something that came up from my brain.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are their references and visions that they would like me to bring to reality.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Try to transmit your vision to me as detailed as possible in order to start working faster and deliver to you the track that you imagined.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Really uplifting, emotional and melodic generally but it depends on my mood.
