Founded in 2019, Daughterboard Audio is a queer-owned and operated studio specializing in high-quality audio mastering for musicians and artists everywhere.
Elaine Rasnake is the owner and lead mastering engineer at Daughterboard Audio. Her creative philosophy centers around maintaining and emphasizing your creative vision by making effective adjustments to your mixes in order to allow them to confidently sit alongside others in their genre. In the end, it’s all about providing peace of mind and ensuring that your tracks sound the best they possibly can on all playback systems.
Elaine holds a B.A. in Music with a concentration in Audio/Video Recording and Vocal Performance from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and is notable for being the first woman to graduate with an audio production degree from Bloomsburg University.
Elaine currently focuses on providing audio mastering and post-production services, educating musicians about the importance and art of mastering, and creating a space to help lift the voices of women and LGBTQIA+ members of the music community.
