Recently recorded for Grammy winning producer Brandi Carlile. Original member of the indie folk band Birdtalker with over 100 million streams. Currently tour with country music legend Tanya Tucker (since 2015).
My goal is to find the emotional center of each song and capture it through my instrumental contributions. I use the electric guitar to explore vast sonic possibilities through a variety of tonal and spacial effects. Additional acoustic instruments can be added to ground it back down to earth for an authentic emotional experience.
I can work with just an mp3 of your song, and layer my instruments over top. Each individual track is made available as well as a rough mp3 bounce of your song. A typical song may have 1 or 2 acoustics, 3 to 5 electrics, and a few additional bluegrass instruments as needed.
Instruments - Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar (standard, 12 string, high strung), Mandolin, Banjo, Dobro, Pedal Steel, Ukulele, Bass Guitar, Piano, B3, Rhodes.
With a focus on Americana music, I am confident and proficient in Country, Rock, Indie Folk, Jazz, and Blues as well.
I play many sessions and tour professionally out of Nashville, with appearances on Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, Ellen, Grand Ole Opry, Ryman, Stage Coach, and Farm-Aid. Artists include Brandi Carlile, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lee Ann Womack, Shooter Jennings, Jamey Johnson, Denis Quad and more!
