I've been recording music ever since I was in elementary school, using a 4 track tape recorder. Some 20 odd years later I'm still at it, with a studio full of instruments and recording gear. I write and record music under the name Jordan Sommerlad, and am part of a couple other projects including Volunteer Cheerleader and Petal Crush. While I play all the instruments on my tracks, the most I have to offer is in the analog synth world, which I find achieves a much more organic and human sound than MIDI/Software/Digital synths can.
