Mauricio Dawid on SoundBetter

I'm a bassist with 20 years of experience in recording creative, groovy and high quality sounding bass lines. I love bringing deep pocket bass to songs, and always prioritize the music.

I am a professional bass player, composer and arranger who has toured thorugh Europe, USA and China.
I play a lot of jazz, but love also playing pop music, r&b, funk. Besides my work as a bassist, I also play some piano.

I have an old french double bass that sounds beautifully, an amazing vintage Fender P-Bass and a Fender J-Bass that I love.

Recording bass lines at my home studio is one of the activities I enjoy the most! I love working on new projects, and always do my best to make every artist/producer feel satisfied. I'm very meticulous while recording, and always focus on finding the right bass line for each song.

I'd love to hear about your project! Contact me through the green button above to get in touch.

  31. Q: What's your typical work process?

  32. A: I usually get an audio file and a chord chart (if needed) first. Then I ask client's what they would like on the track. In case they need it, I'm always happy to make a bass part and give them some options. I will then record the bass, listen back, see what works and what doesn't, and record again...Clients get the audio files so they can blend them into the song. If they ask me to, I can send more than one take so they can choose the one they like the most. I will then do the edits or re-recordings they need in order to make them feel happy about the music!
