Andreas and I started working together in January 2020 on my first EP project which included 4 songs.
Working with him is always a pleasure and very inspirational, as we also did some co-writing together.
Production wise I could not ask for more. the songs I worked on with Andreas always sounded just like I imagined them to or actually better.
The latest Single "Stay" we did, made it to some of the most important radio stations in my home country, which is probably also thanks to the work of Andreas.

I've played drums on several songs that Andreas has produced and it's always a pleasure.
He's supereasy to work with and there's never any problems in communication and the end result is always killer. Simply put, Andreas is a great guy and an awesome producer/mixing- and mastering engineer as well as one hell of a guitarplayer.

I don't know where to start?! Best producer I've had the pleasure of working with. I have always had problems with producers, they never got my vision. Andreas and I started working together and within one session, we wrote an incredible song-(check it out on my profile)
We are a great team, everyday is a pleasure. He isn't just talented and good at what we does but we also have a great time working together, never feels like work!
Anyone that works with him should feel privileged. I feel grateful to have met him! Can't wait for our future projects.

Interview with Andreas Eriksson

  1. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  2. A: I'm extremely dedicated to achieve the highest possible result and won't stop until both I and my clients are fully happy and satisfied.

  3. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  4. A: I've been in music all my life but playing in bands and making records professionally for the past 7 years. Now I produce full time and left the live scene a couple of years ago :)

  5. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  6. A: Get the song to 100%, no rush here! Have a scratch vocal to work with, prepare the recording, and plan the production. Gain stage correctly, make sure you're recording at around 0 VU (-16dBU) and honestly, 96khz is the resolution you wanna be recording at.

  7. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  8. A: It can be anything. Pop/Country/Singer-Songwriter/Rock/Blues/EDM/Trap/Soundtrack

  9. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  10. A: I can deliver a song from start to finish at a very high level, a 360 solution for my clients. I have a huge network so if we need to bring in special vibes or performances such as live strings, banjo/lap-steel for example I have partnerships in place which makes it costeffective, fast, and with really high quality!

  11. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  12. A: A 360 solution with a combination of musicality and engineering.

  13. Q: What's your typical work process?

  14. A: I always start with the song. Really working it out properly and make sure it's really there. Have it down before recording/production begins, tempo, key, arrangement, production plan, the lyrics. It all needs to be locked before the next step which would be recording and building the track. Usually, I begin with live instrumentation, Acc/Elec. guitar, keys, percussion/drums, whatever the song needs, and also, using samples/midi to begin producing the song. Having a scratch vocal to work around and really focusing on the vibe and what energy is coming out of the speakers, creating the best possible experience for the listeners.

  15. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  16. A: I work hybrid. I got pretty much all software imaginable and I work in Pro Tools and Logic but I also have Ableton. I use "Universal Audio" Interfaces. All plug-ins you can think of I probably have, all UA, Acustica, Oeksound (Soothe 1+2) Antares, Waves, Fabfilter, Soundtoys etc. SSL desk and sometimes AMEK for recording, Usually mix in the box. Analog: Neve pres, UA1176s, SSL Fusion to mention some. I've also got an impressive "samples" library :)

  17. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  18. A: That list is long but here are some great inspirations: Diplo, Mattman & Robin, Mark Ronson, Jack Antonoff, Max Martin, Steve Mac, Frank Dukes, Eric Valentine, CLA, F.Reid Shippen.

  19. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  20. A: I'd say most of my work is "full productions", co-writing, recording, vocal-coaching/producing, arranging, instrumentation, mix/master.
