Singer/ Pianist/ Songwriter

Lara Eidi is a vocalist , pianist and creative musician. Trained as a Jazz and Contemporary Singer , she is a recording artist of original material in folk, indie as well as a professional songwriter. Some of her credits are vocal and instrumental composition for film, small vocal ensembles, as well as being a session singer and pop pianist.

Lara Eidi is a versatile and highly creative musician, sought out for her ability to create the right vibe for the genres she specialises in : jazz, folk, singer-songwriter and world music . Based in London , currently living in Athens, she's toured with her own original music around Europe, the Middle East and the UK. She has collaborated with a host of established musicians in both the jazz and folk world , ( Ian Shaw, Michael Solomon, Lianne Carroll, Maria Farandouri, Grand Union Orchestra) as a vocalist as well as a songwriter ( Leon of Athens, Lara Collective). Her skills as a musicians extend to film composition, most recently as commissioned by the renowned International Film Festival of Syros ( Home Tapes) and interactive documentary ( Shelter, Beirut Lebanon). As a recording artist her latest projects are with her folk- jazz trio ( Dave Mannington, Naadia Sheriff) and vocal ensemble .
Her classical and jazz training ( Guildhall School of Music and Drama) as well as her multi-layered background make her a unique musician in her ability to transcend genres and styles.
