Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Here are all friends of mine that I always recommend! Heidi Wang and Matt Sim for Mixing, these two guys are the persons you can trust and can always get your record really into that commercial quality. Bram Fidder for EDM Mastering, Bram is always the trustable guy behind my own music. He can definitely help you do the final magical touch of your music. Sara Sangfelt for songwriting/topline writing, to be honest every track that Sara wrote for me I have never asked for even one single revision. She and her team are just that professional that you won't regret let her write your songs.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I'll put 100% passion into every cases and provide the best possible result inside my ability at that moment.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Please don't be afraid of telling us everything. Our responsibility is to make artists' tracks as great as possible. Due to the online situation I can't work as a producer/production director and manage everything for you but inside my industry I do work as a record producer/production director for people. If you wanna know any advice for the song from a perspective of producer/production director I'm always happy to tell!

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Don't rush and taking rest periodically. Because biologically the hearing system of people don't work in this way.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: After I got the session that I need to work on, I can promise that I'll give my 100% passion into the track. It doesn't matter the artist is big or not. If it's comes from me it will represent the best I can do at that moment.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: For beat making: First I need to know what direction are we going to with my clients, I need them to provide some reference tracks. And also I need to know what specifically the track is used for, like solo singer or an idol group. And the most important thing is the beat before or after the songwriting, process can vary but keep things as great as possible is my responsibility. For Mixing: I like to keep my session clean and organized, I always do this first when I get the stems. And then I will find one or few reference tracks for the overall spectrum/loudness/balance/sound/dynamics, sometimes the clients will provide what they like. I mix from individuals to groups, from bottom to top, from percussive instrument to melodic. When I done the mix I will keep my ear resting well and got a new day to check the mix translate to make sure everything sounds good in different environment and monitor systems. Then send it to my mastering engineer , I always believe that on Post-Production it's very important to have different person handle the mix/master.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Every song is a new to me so I can always find the feeling of freshness in music!

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Q: Does the mixing contain editing/tuning for vocals and instrument? A: No, it's the job of a producer, I don't do any tuning/editing for my mixing case. If you are self-producing and self manage the whole process, feel free to hire some one do the editing for you.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I work in a well-acoustically treated room with all the professional gears/softwares I need. Also I use the most powerful workstation in the market which allows me to handle every session easily.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I produce mostly K-Pop Music for Idol groups.
