Chris Sheldon is a London based mixer and producer with over 35 years of experience and many gold, silver and platinum records. Over the years Chris has produced or mixed records for the Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Therapy?, Feeder, Skunk Anansie, Prefab Sprout, The Boxer Rebellion, Nick Heyward, Bayside, Pixies and Anthrax to name but a few.
I love working on all kinds of music and have been lucky enough to have worked all over the world in some amazing studios and locations doing projects big and small. Many of the artists I have worked with have been repeat clients for years and we’ve developed both a close working relationship and a genuine friendship which is something I treasure.
I trained at London’s Utopia Studios before going freelance as an engineer and mixer and now have my own mix room in London. I’m totally used to remote mixing and will be able to offer you a quick turn around.
Mixing for me is about bringing the musicality and emotion out of the music and providing a framework to really highlight the songs potential. It makes no difference to me whether I am working with an established artist or someone just starting out, my attention to detail is the same.
If you think I can help you with mixing your project, please get in touch!

Chris did an amazing job on my track. He captured the sound I had in my head. Highly recommend.

It was a pleasure working with Chris. He mixed my 10 song album and delivered great mixes each time. Really fast turnaround and he usually reaches a great sound right from the 1st pass! Some things I didn't mention in the mix notes and left it up to him and he instinctively and tastefully added his own touch. Very professional and patient too. He's been doing this for a long time and working with high profile artists – now I can see why!

Can't go wrong with Chris. A seasoned professional with a portfolio that speaks for itself. He was so fast to get to the sound I was looking for! We will be working together again.

Chris nailed it again. Best mix engineer on here and one of the best anywhere! Thanks again Chris.

Another great experience with Chris. Total pro.

2nd time working with Chris and it was just as positive as the first time. He gets the track in an amazing place on his first pass then it's just personal flavor tweaks but it sounds great right off the bat. Looking forward to another track with Chris. Total Pro.

I've said before that it was a pleasure working with Chris, and I keep repeating that. After our first mixing, we decided to continue mixing the other songs in my album. His approach to my songs was very professional and result-oriented. Definitely a great mixing engineer. He made everything perfect not only in my alternative rock songs, but also in my electronic song. Everything was completed quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend.

Was really looking forward to working with Chris on a new hard rock song and I couldn't be more pleased with the end result. Best mix/engineer I've worked with on Soundbetter.

I don't use the word "legend" often - but he is, isn't he!! I wrote Chris' name on a list of people I wanted to work with way back in 2000 and now it's finally happening, and it's better than I could have dreamed.

The mix sounds perfect, we really appreciated the time he took to implement our feedback.

Just a great mix overall!
Explain the kind of mix you want and you wont be disappointed.
Had a pretty rough vocal track but came out pretty damn good! The word is very 'satisfied'. - check_circleVerified
Second time working with Chris, and this time I was a much more picky client. Chris was fine with me trying a few variations and revisions, only to realise he had nailed it early on! Super pleased. Will be back.
