Simon has been one of my favorite people to work with so far. He made the time to talk so we could connect and discuss the concept for the song and met all the target delivery dates he set. He came up with some great lyrical and melodic ideas and was able to quickly adjust them when I ask for few adjustments. And his voice.... it's so good! Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Vocals, lyrics and melodys with depth and authenticity, that will stand out.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Rick Rubin because he speaks the multidimensional language of vibration & sound.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Take breaks, flight-mode and cold showers.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, Folk and Ambient. I work with helping people to access their authentic voices and facilitate Toning, Mantra and Kirtan around the world. We can call it "using the voice as a meditative, spiritual tool".
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Since I travel a lot, I keep my setup simple yet effective. For vocals I use a Neumann TLM 103 through a UAD Apollo Interface. Everything happens in the box, mostly in Logic.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Mostly Handmade-music, but I love everything that gets people together and moving. I admire those who build cultural bridges and entertain with a inspiring message.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you want me to write or sing on your track, please send me everything you have in terms of "this is where I want to go" and "this is how I want it to feel like".

A: Great focus and energetic sensitivity - "what does this need"?

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I spent most of my time writing and producing for my own projects, but get hired frequently by advertising-campaigns for songwriting or vocals.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Depending on the project and the task. For recording vocals I first master the flow of the song and lyrics: I record every part over and over again until the song feels effortless. Then I record everything again, emphasizing on the vibe and the story that is told. The perfection of a vocal is in the silences and that's what I aspire to master.
