Hello! I’ve recorded bass for just about every style out there! From soul/funk (Lacy Kay and the Righteous Liars), to pop punk/rock (Drunken Logic’s album the Loudness Wars), to even playing in a string section with the Dropkick Murphy’s (Meanest of Times).
I play both upright and electric bass and the thing that I always think about when writing bass parts for songs is how I can best serve the song. My goal as a musician and bass player is to always support everyone and the song. If the song calls for whole and notes and simplicity then that’s exactly what I’ll do. If it calls for a busier more melodic bass line then I’m all over that too!

Matthew is very flexible and efficient. He was able to adjust when I sent some curveballs his way and everything went great! The files came on time and were high quality.

Very responsive, efficient, professional bassist! Listened to what I wanted and got the job done quicker than I could have expected and was able to accommodate my offbeat requests. The final product sounds great! Thanks!

Depending on the song and the complexity of it, I could probably turn a song around from 12-72 hours. I can do up to 1 revision for the price listed. Anything after for additional costs.
