Amazing vocalist! Very professional and knows how to get the job done to with excellent standards. I’d definitely recommend her to others for vocal background work.

Wow! I'm truly impressed! Professional, Talented "Angelic"
Moiro has truly exceeded my expectations. Her communication was excellent, her ability to ask insightful questions and really listen was refreshing. But most importantly, she was kind and flexible, willing to go the extra mile because she believed in the project. But what really stood out, in addition to her exceptional talent, she delivered a "World Class Customer Experience"
Thank you Moiro! It was a pleasure to work with you.
Interview with Moiro Konchellah
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Thanks to my music mentors, I was able to learn studio etiquette, and even write and arrange for a few indie recording artists prior to college. I studied vocal performance at Fisk U., and I've been working in the industry as a songwriter, vocal producer and BGV for well over 15 years. I popped out as a recording artist in 2018, and I enjoy writing for myself & collaborating with others.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My writing style has become more minimalist yet rhythmic lately. My vocal style is colorful; I love to play with placement, dynamics & phrasing, depending on the mood of the song.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I can only name one? Yikes. I'd love to work with Brik.Liam at some point; he has the perfect marriage of soul & innovation IMO. Would love to write with, or sing with him.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: My usual projects are R&B and Inspirational. I have worked/will work on a myriad of genres, including but not limited to: Pop, Soul, NeoSoul, K-Pop, Funk, HipHop, Choral, Jazz, Country, etc.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I am a master stacker when it comes to BGVs.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring soul and skill to any record I work on, and I treat every song as if it is my favorite.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When writing (either from scratch or to a track), melody usually comes first, but I also enjoy building lyrics off of a set theme. When recording vocals, my goal is to organize & lock in every detail before I go in the booth, so that I can block out a few hours & maximize my time behind the mic.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a cozy home vocal booth - VocalBoothToGo Sound blankets, foam paneling, Warm Audio mic, Presonus interface (for now), half-closed back AKG headphones, and I lay vocals between my MacBook Pro & iPad Pro. Everything I need to cut clear passes & send unedited wav. files.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'll forever be inspired by Stevie Wonder, India.Arie, PJ Morton, and lately Tiana Major9 and Brik.Liam. I also have extremely talented friends - JoFoKe, Jeremy Kelsey, Ron Black (BlackReign Music), Kyla Jade, Eric Lyn, and the list goes on.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mainly do Top Line writing (lyrics & melody), Co-writing, BGVs and Vocal Arrangement.
I was the Writer (1,2,3), Singer(1,2,3), BVGs (1,2,3), and Co-writer (4) in this production
