Everything is better with strings!

For fans of Laura Marling, Olafur Arnalds, Fleurie, and classic folk auteur Joni Mitchell, the music of ethereal cellist and singer-songwriter Sage Rogan is a soft bed to fall into after a long hard day. Enchanting and delicate, each song allows space for Sage's elegant vocals to feature front and centre, while her adroit cello playing provides a warm glow that emanates throughout.

In 2020, following a month-long residency at the Banff Centre for Creativity in Canada, Sage released her debut EP 'Tethered' to great acclaim from national publications including Tone Deaf and Music Feeds. Like a nostalgic fairytale, these songs unfurl themselves flawlessly to reveal a glorious, sun-soaked triumph of arresting folk-pop.

Notably, as a session musician Sage has featured on Woodes’ debut album ‘Crystal Ball’ (UMPG), and Niv Novak’s ballet art film ‘missed nuance’ (soundtrack by Troy Rogan). Other credits include Run Rabbit Run, Rae Santos, Sam O’Connell, Cat Torres, Pekoe, and Jason Singh.

An Classical Honours graduate of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Sage has lived a varied musical lifestyle studying and performing in across Australia, Italy, China, and the USA.
