Easy Leopard on SoundBetter

I create music that has gathered over one million streams across online streaming services and been featured on popular Toronto Radio Stations including Flow 93.5 & Vibe 105.5 My music has also been featured on a variety of Official Spotify playlists including New Music Friday Canada, Fresh Finds: Pop, Northern Bars & Indie Alternative.

Hey, i'm an audio engineer & producer specializing in creating modern, fresh and innovative pop music. I am able to take your rough demo and develop it into a full-scale commercial record that will sound both professional and unique. I always go above and beyond by trying new sounds and effects for all of my clients.

I have almost 10 years of experience in audio mixing/mastering and music production/composition. While I specialize in modern pop music, I am perfectly comfortable working within other genres like hip-hop, electronic, R&B, house and rock. In fact, my clients are generally artists that love to fuse different genres together so versatility is one of my biggest strengths.

I love helping my clients reach their creative visions and always look forward to a new project. Tell me about your vison by hitting the ‘Contact’ button and let’s get to work!

Incredibly talented, hard-working, gets the job done EFFICIENTLY. I've worked with several engineers over the years; my favourite part about Easy is his ear; he knows how to a) understand what you want, and b) replicate that sound. This is actually quite rare in my opinion, and a very valuable skill. I look forward to working with him on more songs.

Easy doesn’t stop till he gets it sounding exactly the way the artist wants to hear it, and he does one better. A truly humble, talented mixing engineer...hard to find both in one person but he’s got it.

Interview with Easy Leopard

  1. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  2. A: My strongest skill is my ability to genuinely listen to the client. At the end of the day, I love bringing an artist's vision to life and assessing the client's needs exactly has been my strongest asset.

  3. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  4. A: I am well versed in a lot of different musical styles so I can use techniques and tricks from different references to make a more unique and stronger record while always retaining the vibe that the client is going for.

  5. Q: What's your typical work process?

  6. A: My typical work process includes speaking with the client(s) to get an idea of what he/she wants and executing accordingly. I will send an initial mix/master and then accept notes on revisions which I will then implement into the session. My turnover rate is fast and I am flexible with notes.

  7. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  8. A: I work in a treated room with a pair of Yamaha HS8 Studio Monitors, a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, and a 2020 ASUS TUF GAMING Laptop. I run advanced VSTs and Plugins including products by FabFIlter, Soundtoys and Valhalla. If you're interested in recording, I have a Neumann TLM 102 and reinforced with a sE Reflexion Filter.

  9. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  10. A: I enjoy listening to experimental Pop music by artists like Flume and The Underscores and applying the elements they utilize within other genres like Hip-Hop or R&B to create more unique songs.

  11. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  12. A: Most of the work I do includes Mixing and Mastering for clients. Often, I also include a bit of additional production that they generally like and approve of.
