  31. Q: What's your typical work process?

  32. A: I usually start to write a song with a melody. I'm specialized in catchy melodies and top-lines. Once I found the main hook of the song, I start to work on the verses and the structure of the song. Then I start recording drums, bass, keyboards, synths, guitar. I write the lyrics during the process. The more I go on, the more I have ideas and words to write. When I'm composing for movies, I talk a lot with the director and send ideas to find the soul of the movie. Once we've found it, I wait to have some pictures in order to have something in front of me that helps me write the themes for the characters/places.
