I'm a producer based in Italy, specializing in Electronic Music and Techno is my passion.
I’ve been mixing music for roughly 30 years, I did tours around Europe as an artist and produced hundreds of releases charted in Top 10 Beatport Techno, Hard Techno and Trance. I also created theme songs for TV shows, aired on italian national tv station (RAI), but also for movies and documentary.
My music is released on the best Techno labels around the world.

Since virus is here (Covid time) I'm working in new ways to help and push other artists in the industry, taking them to the next level, just let me know about your projects and I`ll help you to get your goals!

Interview with Roby M Rage

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Right now I'm working on new tracks for an Ep or maybe an album :-) I'm also streaming my set from Neon Lab almost every week and I've a ton of radio show ready to be broadcasting
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Which is not a job, I don't feel like I'm working because music is my greatest passion. And it is absolutely amazing to be able to meet and collaborate with so many people around the world.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Reference material to have an idea of what is his musical journey.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been producing music, DJing in club/radio, and throwing club events for over 30 years. It all starts in the 80s with broadcasting music from my room.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I like dark atmospheres, deep layered sounds and a powerful groove.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic based music, from Ambient to Techno. I don't like to put limits on creativity so I always try to experiment and that is why I have worked with many people and collaborated on projects involving different styles of electronic music.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm using a hybrid set up of digital and analog gear. Moog Mother 32 Semimodular Analog, Roland JX-8P Analog Synth, Roland SH-201, Behringer TD-3, Roland Tr-8, Roland R-8, Roland Aira VT-3 Voice Transformer, Soundcraft Signature, Pioneer XDJ RX2, Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO, Boss distortion, Digitech Studio Quad 2, TC Electronics Shimmer Reverb, Saffire Focusrite, Ableton Live 10, iZotope, FabFilter, Xfer Records, Soundtoys, Muuc, u-he.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I like both! Analog gives me passion with a touch of randomness. digital is accuracy.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Professionality, passion and knowledge. Deadlines and timelines will be respected. I'll be glad to answer any questions about the project you may have.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Mac, headphones, Moog Mother 32, Td-3, TR-8

A: Use reference track, and have a lot of fun :-)
