25 years exp performing and as principle songwriter as a guitarist. I've contributed guitars to an as of yet unreleased experimental debut album produced by Producer/Engineer Mathias Schneeberger (The Afghan Whigs, Mark Lanegan, Foo Fighters) and f/ Mark Lanegan (RIP).

As a Film/TV Composer with work broadcast on the BBC, SKY HORROR and Current TV. Advertising work includes clients such AMERICAN CREW and GLENLIVIT with successful collaborations on several short films, most notably BFI Film Festival favourite CORVIDAE, featuring MAISIE WILLIAMS (GAME OF THRONES).

Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: As a guitarist, I more than often introduce a lead theme or hook, or riff that is stronger than you might have expected possible, or simply a supporting texture arrangement that gives the song some extra depth and expression.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Getting a strong feeling for requirements and whether I emotionally connect with the work, and can bring something unique to the table and really compliment and elevate the client's vision.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Creatively at present, the unexplored sonic territory between Nine Inch Nails and Vangelis, which features heavily in my new creative work and guitar arrangements which ranges from heavy rock, to sweeping cinematic soundscapes with middle eastern and western influences. As a slide guitarist in my "Americana mode", Ry Cooder and Marc Ford/Rich Robinson from The Black Crowes are paramount influences alongside all the delta greats, which I can play through either my electric guitars or my resonator tri cone dobro. Alongside my commercial credits, much of my musical career has been as a principal songwriter and performer as a guitarist - and those influences range widely depending on genre.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My commercial and professional session experience has been as a Film/TV Composer, producing a diverse range of musical styles including orchestral arrangements and modern, cutting edge electronic aesthetics. Often, my guitar work compliment the arrangements.
