Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: 1 Compressor
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Went to MI in Hollywood and then worked the desk at Paramount Recording and Encore Studios. It wasn't long into working with Atlantic that I absorbed all the responsibilities of Head Engineer and had a chance to meet everyone from Tony Braxton to Cee Lo Green. My #1 string of Hits with Flo Rida, Jason Derulo and David Guetta where among my favorites!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: #1 Hits
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Advising on final mix/master or vocal production are my specialty.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Dubbed as the vocal-specialist by the likes of Flor Rida and Bruno Mars, handing off that perfect vocal 2track to a Martin Garrix, David Guetta or Manny Marroquin is still my favorite part of what I do.
