Songs are like little worlds that the listener gets to visit. When they create the right mood you want to stay there forever. My passion is in learning to inhabit the world of a song and finding just the right groove and sounds to enhance the emotional qualities of that sonic world.

I have been performing and recording drums and percussion for 20 years in California and the Chicagoland area- all styles from folk to electro-pop. All of my learning from expert recording engineers along the way has given me a solid and creative understanding of how to dial in drum sounds that fit the song AND have tons of character. Instead of giving you generic drum captures, I spend a lot of time crafting just the right tones for your song. I use a combination of traditional and experimental micing techniques, and a deep knowledge of drum tuning/treatment to create a custom tailored sound.

I love collaboration. All us artists do our best when we feel supported and energized by each other. I will work with you to settle on a part and sonic palette that you are as excited about as I am.

I’m the end I will send you a folder with all of the raw tracks and one of all the tracks with the processing that I have used to sculpt the sound to fit the vibe. I will also include a stereo mix of the drums with bus processing.
