Mixing

After many years of mixing for projects in which I am also involved in the production, instrumentation, recording, and creative process with the artist, I have found mixing is a strong suite in which I can bring one's idea to the fullest potential, while creating a mix that is professional and emphasizes the songs emotional charge.

I have spent many years producing, mixing, and editing music for various artists, as well as myself, and feel that I can bring a song to life with the techniques that I have honed in this time. Mixing to me is a process to make sure that a song achieves it's goal, in that an introspective song must have the right atmosphere for the listener to feel the way the artist felt when they were inspired to create it.

In my mixing, I try to balance the technical rules and logistical approach that I know to be valuable, and the creative, sometimes non traditional, ways of achieving the emotional weight of a songs ambience and impact. After listening through the song, prepping the session, and listening to any potential mix references, I will get a rough mix, refine it, and once I think it sounds as it was intended, I will send it to you and we can cover any notes .I'm happy to do three revisions, and will work my hardest to achieve your vision within the mix.
