Mix/Master, plays keys

Matthijs Eppinga on SoundBetter

Mix/master from a session musician's perspective. I am an instrumentalist that plays keys most often, I like contemporary genres and do sessional musician work as a keys/synths player. I enjoy co-creating a musical piece, whether that is through playing as a musician or mixing a track in a certain way that highlights the vision of the arrangement.

As a student of Global Project and Change management at a university of applied sciences, I have been trained to work on wicked problems through the lens of a value-based approach, this has taught me to work methodology and engage in co-creation to ensure that whatever we do adds value. This may sound unrelated but is exactly why I bring a unique view to the table as a musician. I have learned to work with the vision of my client in mind and yet as a creative artist explore what kind of expression we can put in the product.

In modern-day society, knowledge has become a tool rather than a goal, and that is what I offer. I offer my attitude as a critical thinker, creative musician, and goal-oriented project manager. As said before I believe in co-creation and that knowledge is a tool. That translates to a network-based approach. I will not promise that I can do all, and I would be hesitant if someone does promise that, instead I offer my network alongside my services. As a musician and audio engineer, I have a broad network of (conservatory)Instrumentalists in various disciplines. Lyricists, engineers, songwriters, and singers. I love consulting and co-creating with my network in order to make your project succeed.
