I am a songwriter, producer, session musician, and arranger based in Austin, TX. I have toured, recorded and performed with some of Austin's finest such as Spoon, Golden Dawn Arkestra, Walker Lukens, A Giant Dog, David Ramirez and Riverboat Gamblers. Additionally I have released my own music as S. L. Houser and formerly Löwin.
My passion is helping people make records and I have done everything from conduct a string quartet (and accompany one) to layer vocals hundreds of times to producing to polishing lyrics. While I cast a wide net in terms of my skills, I consider my specialties song craft and arranging.
