Producer, engineer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter with a decade of experience studying at USC Thornton School of Music. If you need quality while being on budget, I'm your guy.
Hi, I'm Juan Razuri but my artist/producer name is JCR.
I have been involved in music for nearly 10 years now and have extensive knowledge and experience. I focus on production and mixing/mastering, but I am also a vocalist, songwriter, violinist, guitarist, and drummer/percussionist. All of these skills make me a versatile producer who will do everything possible to create a product that you can be proud of.
I have worked with a handful of beginning artists (Joey Guzman, Miles Hane, Ingrid Griffin, San Andrea, Pet, Lala) and have dedicated a lot of time to working on my own solo project. I've filled all the production roles on these different projects. I mainly have experience in Indie/Alternative Pop/Rock. I am currently studying at the USC Thornton School of Music while also interning at Blue Dream Studios. I also have an incredible mentor who is able to quality check my work.
As a student who is just starting his career and is continuing to learn, I am offering my services at very affordable prices. My hope is to open the door to all who want to create on a limited budget while not sacrificing quality.
I am here to properly communicate creative ideas, make sure your vision becomes materialized, and to have fun creating art with you!

JCR is the two things you want in a collaborator: 1) reliable and 2) a good hang. He is one of my favorite people that I’ve ever had the pleasure to make music with, and to work with in general! Thanks a bunch man!
Nothing but good things to say about this guy! I’ve had the privilege of working with JCR and really getting to experience what someone who really loves their craft looks like. Very passionate and amazing at what he does. Keep it up man!
JCR is one of the kindest people that I've worked with. His open-mindedness, enthusiasm, and full dedication/commitment to each project he works on make him an awesome collaborative partner.
Working with JC was really fun. Helping with background vocals was a whole new experience and I’m glad I got yo help out some!:)
Interview with JCR
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A ton of my own songs for an eventual EP and for single releases, songs for 2 other artists, and a studio internship.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To make something we're both proud of and to have complete transparency in the creative and business process!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Started on violin in middle school which led to learning guitar, voice, drums, and some piano. This allowed me to perform in Orchestra, Marching Band, Percussion Ensembles, Jazz Ensemble, and a religious Spanish folk group. I ended up getting into music production and audio engineering, going to USC, interning at Blue Dream Studios, and collaborating with producer Kenli Mattus. This has all happened in a span of nearly 10 years.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I am a sponge that love to absorb information and to learn quickly!
