Katie is a professional singer/song writer based in the UK. Katie uses her experience and knowledge to produce high quality audio from her home recording studio to fit around your deadline.

Katie specialises in Folk and Acoustic music but is a versatile singer who is open to different projects. With an ear for harmonies, Katie can produce a range of backing vocals for any track.

Katie has composed music for countless theatre projects and commissions including The Fall which was performed off Broadway and other in house productions for Nothern Stage, RSC Etc.

As a singer she has worked with Kathryn Tickell and Nitin Sawhney and played support for Ray Davies and Karine Polwart to name but a few. In her own right she performs with her trio Katie Doherty and The Navigators who are in the process of releasing their new album FLOW after the success of their first album in 2019 which received airplay all over Europe, Live sessions on both BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 3. It went to number 12 in the Itunes new release chart and was in the top three Folk albums on Amazon Music.

I sing, I write and I am an accomplished pianist. I have a well equiped home studio.
