Hey, I'm Finn, and I'm a songwriter and vocalist from the UK. I use the name The Played Alone on streaming platforms, where I have published one full-length album of original material and one EP. I do all my own writing, performing, production, mixing and mastering (my DAW of choice is Logic).

I am a trained vocalist, having had lessons in both pop and jazz vocal technique, and I have spent my whole life singing in choirs. A lot of my music is intimate and soft, but I am very willing to compose and/or sing music of many styles - I have lots of experience writing toplines for electronic music, and I can adapt to whatever suits your project. I prefer to play music by ear, but I do read music and am well trained in music theory.

As well as achieving ABRSM Grade 8 for classical piano, I have taught myself to play various other instruments (hit me up if you want some banjo on your track!). I am also a writer and poet, and I put as much care into my lyrics as I do into my plays and poems.
