I’m a professionally-trained audio engineer with 20 years of experience in and around the studio. I also stay informed about modern techniques in advanced production workshops. I produce pop, rock, indie and CCM artists from the ground up, guiding them through all phases of production to maximize results. Working in that capacity, I keep the artist’s project and career goals in mind and connect them with new resources and opportunities. I also do both remote technical consulting and mixing work for self-producing artists around the world.
I’m the former Artist Relations Rep for a studio-gear company, a current brand ambassador for another, a dealer for yet another and someone who gets to test experimental new products for some highly reputable companies. So, I often try new tools in my analog/digital mixing setup.
I do not pretend to do mastering because mastering done at a truly competitive level is far more than a mix engineer slapping Ozone across a mix. I have relationships with companies that master big-name artists — and for good reason. So, no lifeless, 2D mastering here.
