Hello world. I am Arcturus. I grew up an emo/screamo kid. Fixed my broken hearts with Hawthorne Heights and Silverstein. Partied and adventured to A Day To Remember and Dance Gavin Dance.
But during all this time, I’ve always had a love for electronic music. The fluidity of sound, the artistic range possible, and its ability to move people unlike anything else on earth—both emotionally and physically. I’m born of the era of DJ Sammy, Basshunter, La Roux, and Dirty Vegas. I fell in love to Cascada, raced cars through the canyons to Ferry Corsten, and always wanted to play Daft Punk just “one more time”.
Needless to say, I love music. It’s part of the reason I’m still alive today. Songs that speak to the emotions and feelings we’re facing can have a profound impact on us. I’m here to make and share music I love, all in the hopes I can find my tribe within the music community. Thank you for being here and for your support as I continue the journey to make music.
