Artistic & Creative Audio Engineer with 5+ years in Entertainment Industry: recording, editing, mixing, mastering and providing audio post production. Participated as an engineer in songs, films and podcasts of various artist ranging from rising artists to mainstream popular artists.

Edward Lin approaches mixing by emphasising on emotion of the artist, glorifying the elements that would take the song to another level. A: Hybrid.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started out as a DJ. When I study music production, I found myself more into audio-related aspects of the production. I started by mixing friends' songs for free and now I had been doing this for over 5 years.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Finneas and he was my inspiration throughout my career.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Simplicity is the best.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Many genres and usually modern-pop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Dedication and professionalism.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Emotion and life. I like songs that keep me entertained throughout the song and leave me with an emotion. I'd love to achieve that with my own projects.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: As soon as I receive my 50% deposit, reference tracks and other required materials, I start editing such as vocal tuning, noise-reduction and basic editing. Then I start mixing mastering until I am satisfied with my job. It usually takes 1-2 days.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Finneas is my main source of inspiration. CLA, Andrew Scheps, Andrew Masters and million of engineers.
