Debbie Neigher

LA-Based Keys, Synths, Vocals

Debbie Neigher on SoundBetter

I'm a versatile keyboardist, singer, and songwriter based in Los Angeles. With over 15 years of touring and recording experience, I've worked with a wide range of artists from Grammy winner Daya, to pop icon Marina, to indie rock darlings Ezra Furman and The Midnight, playing Madison Square Garden and recording at LA's legendary Sunset Sound.

I began learning classical piano at age 4, studied voice all through my childhood and teenage years, and received a scholarship to Tufts University for music soon after. Since then I have toured the world playing keys and singing for major label artists, indie pop and rock bands, and the sold out Pop Up Magazine tour, a multimedia event hailed as a "sensation" by The New York Times. I've also recorded in studios and remotely for artists, bands, and commercial music, ranging from Americana to pop to folk and rock.

My artist project Lapel, where I write, co-produce, and do keys, vocal arrangements, and sound design for all songs - has received critical acclaim from Billboard, The San Francisco Chronicle, and Dave Smith Instruments, with my songs being placed in television shows and films on Peacock, Lifetime, and PBS.

My experience with supporting other artists, as well as my own artist career, gives me a unique perspective on the vulnerabilities, challenges, joys, and creative collaboration involved in bringing any project to life!
