    We have been working with Sam on our dream indie game for many years and he has been nothing but a joy to work with. It's been amazing seeing what he has done as the project has grown and evolved in that time. He always delivers above our expectations, going as far as to make his own field recordings for one shots and environmental sounds.   1. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  2. A: The process of pairing a visual scene with carefully selected pieces of audio puts me right into a natural flow state. It's the perfect combination of rewarding and challenging, and I love getting to explore the infinite realms of music and sound design every day.

  3. Q: How would you describe your style?

  4. A: My compositions for video games have been described as “electronic ambient” as they often involve catchy melodies or chord progressions that evolve seamlessly over time.

  5. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  6. A: Most of my music begins as an exploration of the deepest mysteries of the cosmos. I've been told that my compositions are highly emotional and often put listeners into a state of deep contemplation.

  7. Q: What's your typical work process?

  8. A: I aim to infuse my passion for sound into projects in unique and novel ways, experimenting with a large volume of ideas until I land on the perfect one. For example – when recording rain for a video game – I first recorded multiple natural environments at different times of day (a meadow at sunrise, a dense forest at nighttime, etc.). I then compared the sonic quality of these recordings to digitally synthesized rain as well as the sound of bacon sizzling in a pan (which sounds very similar to rain)!

  9. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  10. A: I’m currently spending most of my time composing the soundtrack and designing the soundscape for an exciting action-adventure indie title. I’ve been working in audio for six years and have experience across sound design, music production, field/foley recording, and educational content creation.
