Dear mycelial network of musical spirits near and far,

My name is Johanna, and it would be my pleasure to help you bring your creative visions to life.

I've been writing, recording and touring professionally for fifteen years, released six critically acclaimed solo albums to date, and lent my voice to many artists such as Iron & Wine, Natalie Merchant and Julie Byrne, and to the Netflix animated series "The Midnight Gospel."

While my solo project is generally positioned in the indie folk realm, I enjoy working in a broad range of styles from hip hop, to pop, to electronica. Singing and arranging vocal harmonies is a great love of mine. I also play flute, guitar, piano, glockenspiel, and ancient Greek lyre.
