Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: A recent project i worked on was Luca Hanni's "WhenIWakeUP". I executive produced the album with my younger brother, and another great friend of mine. It was an incredible learning experience, and I'm incredible proud of the work we did.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: Im actually working on a a few projects at the moment. An ep, or two, and my debut album.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: My good friend Joey Diggs recommended me to Sound Better, and I would definitely recommend him to my clients.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: I believe in the blend. Why Not?

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: My promise is that i'll always deliver.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Pure Creation is everything to me! My job allows me to live there.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: I most commonly get asked how Im able to stack backgrounds, and lay lead vocals so quickly. My reply is always that I've just been doing this for so long. Over 15 years of practice has made me a machine.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: The biggest misconception about what I do, is that it just came easy.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What emotions are you trying to evoke?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Never be scared to tell me exactly what you are looking for. My goal is to bring out whats in your head as best I can until I get it right.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: My Keyboard, My Mic, My Laptop, My AU, and Guitar.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I plan on being one of the best singer/songwriters of all time. Ive honestly been doing this all my life.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: I would say my style is urban, and modern.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would love to work with John Mayer. He's definitely one of my favorite musical minds still alive.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Spacing is key!

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I work on a variety of music usually. A lot of RnN, and PopRock. And also a lot of scoring elements. Orchestral, electronic work.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: My strongest skills, or my IQ, and my ability to deliver great takes I'm great time.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring depth, and belief to a song. I try my best to evoke every emotion the story is trying to tell, both musically, and sonically.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: My work process varies. I typically wake up and do any mixing that may need to be done. I may warm up by making a few beats, and seeing if anything sticks. I am constantly writing, so I usually have a pretty good stockpile of material to draw from to keep me in a steady rhythm.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I have two studio setups at the moment, and working on three. My more mobile rig consists of my Maschine gear, both Mikro, and Jam. My Komplete Kontrol S61, and my AKG C12, I keep with me at all times. My bigger rig, is powered by the big boy Apollo. I recently acquired the new Montage synthesizer, and the S88 controller. There I also have another Custom AKG C12 Mic.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Growing up in music, I was heavily surrounded by all of the greats. From Steely Dan, to D'Angelo, and Avenged Sevenfold, to Keith Urban, Joni Mitchell, Marvin Gaye, Michael Franks, and countless others.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Most commonly I Top-line, and do songwriting, and vocal producing work. I also serve as engineer, and Mixer when needed.
