Vivanco Studios on SoundBetter

Specialize in Faith Based Music and Modern Worship Music.

Full recording, mixing and mastering projects. We can master existing projects as well or provide clean up work on stems. I have access to studio musicians that record remotely, some of the best in the country. We can arrange, add pro-session players to your mix to bring out the professionalism to your demo or final mix for release (I just pass this cost on from the session players). I can assist in songwriting and producing if needed!

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Analog but I work in digital. Analog for warmth. Digital for speed.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: Good mix. Have fun.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Flexibility. Creativity.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: What is your hourly rate. $75 an hour. What is your day rate? $500 per day.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: Sit around and drink coffee, and that I get to goof around all day. In reality, producing and mixing work is 24/7, some days I am mixing for 20 hours.

  18. A: How much time do they have. What is their budget.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Be ready to work.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Hammer. Ax, Lighter, Knife. Gibson J45 Acoustic Guitar.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Slow and steady.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Lauren Daigle. Great voice and great attitude. Super talented.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Gang vocals are fantastic for choruses. You can use 3 singers on one condenser mic. Track them all singing in unison on the melody, then track one higher harmony above the meoldy with the same 3 singers and then track another lower harmony below the melody with the same 3 singers. Sometimes I even move the mic off-axis to create different sounds or you can do this with a virtual mic.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Worship and faith based music. Voice overs. Film and TV music.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Producing.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Music theory, big ideas. Orchestral sounds if wanted.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: Collaborate with artist for sound and style.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: Small boutique production studio, home based. Work with other remote studio musicians to produce tracks to minimize set up time.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Chris Tomlin. We the Kingdom. Elevation Worship. Vertical Church

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
