Hey I'm Alex!

I studied music production at the National Music Conservatory of Paris. I learned how to create and produce the best sound possible with a focus in recording and mixing acoustic music (Indie/Rock bands, small jazz ensemble, big bands, chamber music and orchestras). In 2020 I moved to Germany to widen my range of knowledge and skills. The scene in Berlin introduced me to the world of electronic music and therefore I developped myself as a producer/mixing and mastering engineer working with more pop and electronic music artists! Since then, versatility has become my strength!

I work in a professionally equipped and acoustically treated studio in the east of Berlin.

My services :

PRODUCTION (~ 3 days)
- exchanging reference tracks - talking about the needs of the song
- recording the demo vocals
- arranging/pre-mixing
- vocal recording/tuning
- confirm the production

MIXING (~ 1 + 1/2 day)
- exchanging reference tracks more specifically about the sound we want to achieve
- first version mixed independently
- if you're satisfied overall with the result we get into details and revisions, either at my studio or online
- confirm the mix

MASTERING (1/2 day)
- Delivering quality .wav file
- STEMS (for remixes)
- instrumental version (for promotion)

Alex professionally produced my EP, he's been very caretaking, paid lot's of attention to details but also generally supported me troughout the whole recording process (technically and musically as well as psychologically haha!).
He took over a big part of the arrangements of my songs, which I'm very happy about. He also ended up mixing the whole project ! Be it technically or creatively, Alex masters his craft :)

Alex is very easy to work with, which is hard to find in the world of music. Mixing is always a very tricky part of the process and Alex is verry attentive and carefully listens to what the artist is looking for in term of sound and dynamics in the mix. We are currently working on the mix of my new EP and the experience has been super smooth and fun so far. Interview with Alex

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm very inspired by artists like Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) who manage to find the perfect balance between well composed songs and high quality productions.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly produce and mix music for independant artists. I also occasionally complete the process until mastering.
